Art Requirements for Optimal Printing
Preferred File Types: Vector Graphics for Superior Quality
At Existential Printing Solutions, we strive for the highest quality in every print. To achieve this, we strongly recommend providing artwork in vector file formats. Vector graphics ensure your designs are sharp and scalable to any size without losing quality.
Recommended Vector Formats:
Adobe Illustrator files (.ai)
Portable Document Format (.pdf)
Scalable Vector Graphics (.svg)
Encapsulated PostScript (.eps)
Vector File Specifications:
Please ensure that all artwork is fully vectorized before submission. This means your designs should be infinitely scalable and must not contain any raster (pixel-based) images.
Photoshop Files and Raster Images:
While vector files are preferred, we understand that some designs are created in Photoshop. These can be accepted if they adhere to the following guidelines:
Must be created at the exact size/dimensions required for printing.
Note: Stretching or expanding Photoshop files (raster images) can significantly reduce image quality, resulting in pixelation and potential unprintability.
Raster File Formats:
Other raster file formats we encounter include .png, .jpeg, and photographs. Please be aware that these formats may not yield optimal print quality and could be subject to additional processing.
Artwork Submission and Mock-Ups:
If you provide a tech pack, we will adhere to the included mock-up.
Without a provided mock-up, we will create a digital mock-up for your approval before production begins.
Additional Services:
Artwork Vectorization: We offer vectorization services for an additional fee. This will be discussed and agreed upon prior to printing.
Artwork Recreation: Our in-house team can recreate artwork and provide alternative solutions to ensure your designs are print-ready.
